 Congratulations to one of our winners – Gorsley Goffs Primary – at our 2019  Christmas light switch on.

The stage looked brilliant! The 2019 Christmas light switch on was a fantastic evening for all the family!

And the winner is…Sally Lloyd from Blackmarston School in Hereford. Congratulations Sally, a well deserved winner!

The Pride Awards is a fantastic evening on Friday 8 November 2019 celebrating everything that is brilliant about our wonderful county of Herefordshire. OES are proud sponsor’s of the ‘Outstanding Teacher/ Teaching Assistant’ Award which is always a tough challenge choosing between the finalists! A huge thank you to Donna at Sunshine Radio for her continued support.

Buddy was born on the 1st September 2019, a yellow Labrador that loves shoe laces!

Congratulations to Emily who won our ‘Teacher of the Year’ Award for 2018/2019. Emily has gone above and beyond over the last year with some fantastic feedback from the schools she has worked within. Well done Emily, keep up the good work.

STARLIGHT STARBRIGHT COMPETITION It’s the Autumn again and that means it’s the singing season! Sunshine Radio in conjunction with OES are offering local schools the chance to put together a choir and sing at the Hereford Christmas Lights Big Switch On.   This year there will be a winning Primary school and a winning Secondary school who will both receive £200!!!   So if you are a School who can sing and you would like some cash then complete an entry form and email to Susie.ballinger@sunshineradio.co.uk!  Closing date for entries is the 11th October 2019.   Good luck to all our schools!

We are delighted to be part of Sunshine Radio’s Summer of Sunflowers.  What a fantastic way to get young children outside in the fresh air growing sunflowers!  Good luck to all who take part.

We were delighted to sponsor Hereford Christmas Lights Switch on this year in conjunction with Sunshine Radio. Both Trinity Primary school and Weobley High school were fantastic, well done! It was a pleasure to be able to present Weobley High with their cheque for winning the Starlight Starbright competition!

A fantastic response to the Starlight Staright competition in conjunction with Sunshine Radio with over 5,700 votes!! Congratulations to Trinity Primary school who came 2nd, and our overall competition winner WEOBLEY HIGH SCHOOL!! We will see you on Sunday 18th November at the Christmas lights switch on – well done!
